We love partnering with our neighbors at Durham Public Schools, and we’re thrilled to see WRAL TV highlighting the impact of their hard work!

During the 2025-2026 school year, DPS saw its lowest number of school incidents in four years, alongside a significant decrease in suspensions. A huge round of applause goes to DPS for strategically investing in restorative practices.

Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of training DPS school resource officers and administrators on building deeply connected, relationship-based school cultures—and the data proves just how much this work pays off. 👏

Because of our community’s generosity, we've delivered more restorative practices training this year than ever before — impacting 42,000 students across North Carolina and beyond.

Thanks to donor support, 67% of our trainings were offered to Title I public schools at a reduced rate, helping more educators build classrooms rooted in trust, belonging, and care.

As we approach the end of our fiscal year on June 30, we’re working toward a goal of 100 donors to help us continue saying “yes” to schools asking for support.

What an inspiring day hosting passionate students from across North Carolina for our annual Student Leadership Day! 💙

Centered around the theme “The Power of Us,” students spent the day building leadership skills, strengthening community, and imagining the kind of schools — and future — they want to create. We were also honored to hear from Durham City Manager Bo Ferguson, who encouraged students to lead with courage and collaboration.

Healthy school cultures don’t happen without student voice and leadership. Thanks to the 50 young changemakers and educators who joined us!

Teaching comes with incredible rewards — and real challenges, especially in your first years in the classroom. We're excited to offer our New Teacher Helpline on February 10, 2026, hosted virtually via Zoom so educators everywhere can join.

This interactive session will be shaped by your questions and needs, with a focus on:
