The countdown is on! Our volunteers are busy sorting, tagging, and arranging an extraordinary collection of more than 20,000 donated books for our two-day Books Among Friends in-person sale for readers of all ages. From bestselling fiction and timeless classics to children’s favorites, nonfiction gems, and a wide selection of puzzles and games, most finds are priced at $5 or less. Come early for the best selection!

Event details:
• Friday, Aug 21 - Member Day, 3–7 pm. Members enjoy an extra perk: 25% off our already low prices during Friday’s members-only hours. Not a member? Memberships are available at the door or anytime at fodlnc.org.
• Saturday, Aug 22 - Open to the public, 10 am – 4 pm.

The Friends of the Durham Library will host an in-person book sale this month at our Books Among Friends bookstore, located in the Shoppes of Hope Valley. Browse more than 20,000 gently used donated books for readers of all ages and interests - from fiction and history to cookbooks, children’s books, mysteries, biographies, and more. Most books are $5 or less, and we’ll also have a great selection of puzzles and games. Shop early for the best selection.
