Have you noticed the colorful piece of cardboard behind the register this week? 👀🏠 It's a baffle, and it's an important part of building an energy-efficient Habitat home.
Installed at the eaves of a home, baffles help maintain airflow through the attic, prevent moisture buildup and regulate attic temperatures, which can help reduce energy costs for future homeowners. Each Habitat home uses approximately 50 baffles!
For the next two weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to sign a baffle with a quote, prayer or blessing for a future homeowner when you donate to the ReStore Round-Up house. 💙
