Piedmont Conservation Council, Inc. Piedmont Conservation Council focuses on projects in a 10 county area across NC's Piedmont region to conserve natural resources and strengthen communities.

Piedmont Conservation Council (PCC) is bringing conservation from plan to practice across North Carolina's Piedmont region. Formerly part of the USDA's Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Program, PCC is now an independent 501(c)(3) operating in a 10 county area: Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Guilford, Orange, Person, Randolph, Rockingham, and Wake. Our Council is made up of 23 memb

ers representing each of our member-counties and seek to bring grassroots project ideas identified at the local level to us for development and implementation. In recent years we have completed a number of projects including dam removals, stormwater retrofits, quilt trails, and Farmland Protection Plans.
