Voting Rights Under Attack: At the statehouse on Tuesday March 7th, there will be a hearing on SB 3--a bill that would re-define the term domicile and erect a barrier that will make it harder for all students to vote, and perhaps impossible for out of students to vote in New Hampshire. We need as many people as possible to go to the hearing, and if possible testify, but at the very least sign in. It is imperative that we protect our right to vote as students.
The hearing is at 10:00 am in Concord, and we would love to see you there. For more information, or if you need a ride to the statehouse, either message this page directly or email [email protected].

See the text of the bill here: https://legiscan.com/NH/text/SB3/2017

With so much going on at the national level, it can be easy to overlook what's happening in our own state. These bills aren't going to prevent voter fraud, they only serve to make voting more difficult for students and many others.

Proposed changes to New Hampshire election law could unfairly disenfranchise college students, seasonal residents, university professors, military personnel, and all sorts of transient workers, according to opponents of the legislation who dominated testimony on several election-related bills before...
