For 85 years we have developed women leaders and given back to Durham and Orange Counites. Join us! The Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties, Inc.

reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. We are committed to celebrating and leveraging diversity as we strive to achieve our mission. Additionally, we continue to strive for diverse representation of women reflecting our communities' wide range of backgrounds, opinions, races, sexual orientation, religions, an

d experiences. We recognize that diversity among our members and the programming we support is critical to accomplishing our mission. Over 400 women, including Provisionals, Actives, Sustainers, and Non-Residents represent the JLDOC. The 293 Junior Leagues throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Great Britain have a collective membership of over 160,000 women.

What a meaningful day for Durham! 💜

We were proud to celebrate the ribbon cutting of our new Free Period Pantry at 3218 N. Roxboro Street, bringing free menstrual hygiene products directly into the community—no paperwork, referrals, or appointments required.

Located alongside the Braggtown Baptist Church Fridge and Pantry, this new resource is another step toward ensuring dignity, access, and care for all. Together, we’re making period products available when and where they’re needed most.

A huge thank you to Diaper Bank of North Carolina , Eric Miller , and Durham Community Fridges for helping make this vision a reality. This pantry is a testament to what can happen when neighbors come together to meet community needs with compassion and action.
Here’s to expanding access, supporting one another, and building a healthier, more equitable Durham. 💜

A New Pantry. A New Promise.

The is bringing free period products directly to a Durham neighborhood! No paperwork, no referrals and no appointment needed.

Our new Free Period Pantry at 3218 N Roxboro Street will be stocked with pads and menstrual hygiene products for anyone who needs them, located right alongside the trusted Braggtown Baptist Church Fridge and Pantry.

It’s community care meeting community need.

The Free Period Pantry is made possible through partnership with the , , and - neighbors, all of whom are committed to distributing dignity in the Durham Community.
