SwingPals made the news! ⛳

CBS 17 recently visited Hillandale Golf Course to highlight its new driving range and practice facilities, and the opportunities they will create for SwingPals students.

A special shoutout to Kamere, who represented SwingPals on TV! We are so proud of him.

Wow! More than $32,000 raised in honor of Ron Harman!

Yesterday’s Ron Harman Invitational brought together teams, sponsors, volunteers, and community supporters for a special day celebrating Ron’s legacy and supporting SwingPals’ work with Durham students.

Proceeds will help grow our after-school program, provide more transportation, and begin building the Ron Harman Workforce Development Program.

Congratulations to Fore Right! on taking home the trophy, and thank you to everyone who played, sponsored, volunteered, and helped make this event possible.

Together, we are carrying Ron’s legacy forward!

Tomorrow is tournament day!

We are so grateful for the incredible support behind the first-ever Ron Harman Invitational. From tee sponsors to prize donors to food donors, this community has shown up in a big way to help make the event possible.

Events like this make a difference. Your support helps expand SwingPals programs, reach more students, and unlock the full potential of Durham’s youth.

Ari, right, and Avi, center, two Durham Academy students from the Class of 2028, presented Doug Hodges, Executive Director of SwingPals, with a $250 check from their golf ball collection project.

Together, Ari and Avi have collected more than 1,000 high-quality golf balls. After washing and packaging them, the balls are ready to be shared with golfers in exchange for donations to SwingPals.

Ari and Avi are yet another example of young people stepping up to the tee and showing what future leadership looks like.

Cary Academy students are stepping up for the Durham community!

Zofia, CA Class of 2029, and Audrey, CA Class of 2030, recently met with Coach Hodges to donate golf clubs for his SwingPals students.

Coach Hodges shared, “Zofia and Audrey are two more examples of today’s youth stepping up as leaders in our community.”

They are already looking for more ways to secure much-needed junior clubs and find new, creative ways to support Coach Hodges’ work in Durham.

SwingPals All-Star team and their families enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the Heritage Club in Wake Forest this past weekend.

They may have been defeated by an incredibly strong Heritage team, but they had a great time, and that’s what the day was all about.

Thank you to everyone who came out, played, cheered, and helped make the day so special. Moments like this are what make the SwingPals community so meaningful.
