Get out on the water with sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking at the UNH Community Sailing Centre. Choose fresh air, adventure, and hands-on fun over screen time.
To meet growing demand, the UNH Community Sailing Centre has added staff and expanded several popular programs:
• Guppies (ages 5–7.5) – capacity has doubled
• Mates (ages 12–18) – beginner/intermediate sailing with additional openings
• Skippers (ages 12–18) – advanced sailing with added spots available
• MSST (ages 12-18) - Summer Racing Team by invitation
There are also limited openings remaining in our kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding programs.

UNH Sailing Work Weekend is live! Looking for some strong sailors to help complete work? Look no further than the UNH Sailing Team! This weekend, April 25, 26, and Sunday, May 3, the team is available to handle a variety of requests: yard work, cleaning, painting, and so much more. Please complete the attached form, and we will contact you as soon as possible. Availability is limited, so don’t hesitate!

The UNH Community Sailing 2026 season is just around the corner!!

The after-school Spring MSST program, which includes Learn to Sail and Race for 7th through 12th graders from any school in the area, will be held the month of May through the first week of June. The informational meeting for the Spring MSST program is on March 31, at 6 pm at the Hamel Recreation Centre, 5 Edgewood Drive in Durham.

The UNH Community Sailing Centre registration goes live at midnight on February 12. Classes fill up quickly, so don’t wait.
