I believe I was scammed by safe-haven newfies: I made a deposit, then they asked for another 259.00 for shipping. Then I was told the puppy would be delivered today and when I get the shipping info I need to respond. They asked for $599.00 stating they would refund 98% when the dog was delivered. I stopped at that point and started investigating. The page stated she was a non profit but
when I asked for the Federal Id number, she didn't provide it as required by law. After further investigation I found that the company was a Scam. I contacted the FBI and Facebook support.

No matter how much we convince ourselves that the world is kind and that good is always rewarded with good, it becomes impossible to believe that when we see children around us suffer. They have nothing but love to offer this world, yet there are a lot of them, around us, whose innocence is rewarded with endless struggles. Something as rudimentary as having a warm winter coat for the cold, freezing winter months of America is a basic part of everyone’s wardrobe, and yet there still are children who die of cold because their families cannot afford or are just not there to buy them winter clothing. It is heartbreaking to see that at an age where they should be living their carefree lives, how so many of them, are deprived of the common comforts that we take for granted.

Children everywhere signify hope. They are a living walking symbol of love and just by being who they are, they know how to make people around them happy. In our hopes to put a layer of warmth and love around the children who deserve as much happiness as they are capable of spreading, if not more, our non-profit has taken up the initiative to offer winter coats for children whose parents have been incarcerated at NC prisons. We are reaching out to you for your support to help us raise enough funds to accomplish this goal. Any and every penny you donate to our cause will go towards making warm winter coats for children who need our kindness and love more than anything. Your contribution will be a way of ensuring that no child has to suffer or die because of exposure to below freezing cold of America. We need to raise enough funds for 350 coats by December 06, 2019. Any and all additional funds will be used for buying Christmas gifts for the kids.

The children of today are the future of tomorrow. Let us help them see the hope that they are unable to see. Let us be the caregivers that their parents are incapable of being for them. Let us surround them with warmth, love and happiness when they need it more than anything. Let us bring a stronger, kinder world together.

“While it may seem that prison spending and education spending are disparate, experts have drawn correlations between the two.

For example, about 66 percent of state prison inmates haven’t graduated high school, and young black men aged 20-24 without a high school diploma are more likely to be in jail or prison than they are to have a job, according to the U.S. Department of Education.”

Incarceration rates have tripled over the past three decades, driving up spending on jails and prisons. California spends $53,146 more per prisoner than it does per student, according to a new report.
