We had an amazing time at Orange Grove Missionary Baptist Church back to school celebration. It was "Slime Time" and trust us; it got messy! Thank you again OGMBC for inviting us and we look forward to more events in the future!

SCI had an amazing day at Phoenix Fest. We met some really amazing children and parents. They got a taste of what SCI is all about. Also two brilliant future engineers completed our Egg Drop Challenge and walked away with a Bluetooth speaker set. Great job guys and gals see you soon!

We've been swamped with young people; had to catch our breath to show you the innovators working hard at Phoenix Fest. We came out here with several games and challenges but by far the Egg Drop Challenge has captivated our audience. Maybe it's because of the Bluetooth speaker set at stake or that our contestants possess an immense amount of determination. Most likely it's the latter.

SCI will be at the 15th annual Phoenix Festival held on Fayetteville Street tomorrow October 1st. We'll be distributing school supplies and we have a fun activity for the young people (the old folks will like it too). See you there!

We're sad to announce S.T.E.M Family Game Time has been cancelled at the Stanford L. Warren Branch because of repairs to their meeting spaces due to flooding. We'll announce another time and date when the repairs are done.

This room at the East Regional Library - Durham County is where SCI will be hosting S.T.E.M Family Game Time from 12-3pm. This event is free and open to the public. We'll be giving away school supplies and refreshments will be served. Hope to see you there!

Out promoting S.T.E.M. Family Game Time and the support from our community businesses is tremendous! Thanks goes out to Carly C's IGA, 3729 Wake Forest Hwy and Four Points Quick Mart, 5021 Wake Forest Hwy for allowing SCI to prominently post our flyers.
