Hey! Come on out this Friday June 28th to Mosaic Chatham Park and check out live music with Jim Quick and Coastline! Great way to wind down on Friday night! Grab some food and beverages from an array of local vendors, with Ta Contento, Pop Heaven, Buoy Bowls, Vintage Scoops, Cousins Maine Lobster, Hops and Berry, and Thirsty Skull Brewery. Find out what we do, donate and support musicians on tour while also supporting local businesses!!

If you’re in the mood to have some great local food and support our local music scene come on over to Carrburritos next (June 6) Thursday!!

Hey All! It’s AnneMarie, Mystique and Leites founders of our (501C3) non profit, Towns on Tour. Our mission is to enable struggling traveling artists/bands performing at local venues to have a profitable tour. We aim to do this by fundraising (all donors welcome!! Anything helps, check out our website or page!) and teaming up with local businesses (restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, tattoo artists, salons/barbers, groomers, vets, etc.) and setting up budgets in these businesses for the tours to utilize. This looks like me reaching out to the tour manager and saying “hey, thanks so much for gigging here in Chapel Hill/Carrboro. Here are some menus of restaurants we have teamed up with and have a preexisting budget with. Please visit our friends over at ________ where you have a $50 budget for dinner and $25 budget for coffees at _______. After the show enjoy a few drinks at ______ with another $50 budget. In exchange, we’d love for the tour to post on your social media about the experience!”. By setting up these budgets, not only are we giving the artist financial relief, we’re keeping all of the money we have raised local. And once word gets out about this local sustainable network, local venues (such as Cat’s Cradle, Local 506, the Cave to name a few) will be booking more gigs! As we were building this idea we realized how everyone in the community can win and it costs nothing! Most people right now are just surviving and when you’re surviving you don’t have room to dream. We are dedicated to creating space to give everyone room to dream. We are proud to celebrate having set up 2 budgets so far, our first at Imbibe (Rougarou) and our second at Carrburritos!!!! 🎉🤘 Now we’re asking you all!! Which local businesses do you want to see us literally go in and hand money to? Who are your favorite FAVORITE local businesses, the BEST of what you think our area has to offer? Where would you go to show your friends a good time? We want to hear them ALL!! Please don’t be afraid to reach out and DM me as we would love to connect and network to lift everyone up!! Looking forward to hearing everyone’s spots!

Here is a bunch of ways to help! We really want to start helping touring artists and musicians, let's get them safely on the road and headed to our towns! You can go to the addresses at the bottom of the page for our donation campain that is running this month for our kickoff event, you can buy tickets at durhamfruit.com (ticket button takes you to eventbrite), you can also look us up on eventbrite, or you can just scan the qr code to donate! Most important, SHARE! Lets spread the word and create a sustainable touring system that doesn't need the corporate greed!
