🐾 Welcome back, Wildcats! 😼
Classes started yesterday, and we’re excited to welcome new and returning UNH students back to campus for the fall semester!

UNH students are an integral part of Northeast Passage. They compete as student athletes in our competitive sports programs, participate in our adaptive recreation opportunities, and support our programs as student workers, interns, and volunteers. They also have hands-on educational opportunities through classes and labs taught by NEP staff, bringing classroom learning to life through real-world experience.

We’re excited for another semester of learning, connection, opportunity, and making an impact together.

Welcome back, Wildcats! Here’s to a great semester! 🐾

🥪 Free lunch and an amazing way to support Northeast Passage? Yes, please!

Jersey Mike’s is opening at 11 Mill Rd. unit C in Durham, NH, on September 9, and they stopped by the Northeast Passage office today to treat our staff to a delicious FREE lunch! 😋

Even better, they’re supporting NEP with an awesome opening-week promotion. They’ll be giving out 5,000 promotional cards featuring the NEP logo. Make a $3+ donation to Northeast Passage using the QR code on the card, and it activates the card for a FREE sandwich during opening week! 🥪🎉

A huge thank you to Jersey Mike’s for lunch and for this fun, easy way to support NEP. We’re excited to see what this partnership can do!

Mark your calendars for September 9! 🙌

Yesterday, Northeast Passage had the opportunity to welcome congressional staffers from the offices of Senators Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen and Representative Maggie Goodlander as part of UNH’s 2026 Congressional Research Tour.

The visit, part of their national security, DOD, and veteran’s affairs themed day, gave staffers a firsthand look at NEP’s veteran programming, including an adaptive archery event, and most importantly, a chance to meet and hear directly from some of the veterans we serve.

These conversations provide a valuable opportunity for those who help shape policies impacting veterans and people with disabilities to connect with constituents who have benefited from NEP programs and hear about their personal experiences as veterans seeking services in New Hampshire.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share the impact of adaptive recreation and recreational therapy—and to let our veteran participants tell their stories in their own words. 🏹🇺🇸

Remembering Robbie Dudzisz
Our hearts are heavy as we remember and mourn the loss of Robbie Dudzisz, a beloved member of the Northeast Passage Wildcats wheelchair rugby family and a friend to so many in the adaptive sports community.

Robbie joined the Wildcats in 2012 as a low pointer and quickly established himself as a talented, dedicated athlete. A multisport athlete before his spinal cord injury in 2011, he brought a natural competitiveness and lifelong love of sports to wheelchair rugby. What began as a new sport became a passion, and Robbie became a cornerstone of the Wildcats program.

A 2017 UNH graduate and student-athlete, Robbie rarely missed a practice or tournament. He grew into a starting low pointer, mentor, and team leader, always willing to share his knowledge and experience and help elevate those around him. He was a key member of Wildcats teams that captured DII National Championship titles in 2022 and 2024, two of the proudest moments in program history.

Robbie’s love for wheelchair rugby extended far beyond the Wildcats. He became a familiar face at low-pointer tournaments across the country as a valued member of the Magee-MedStar Low Point team. His passion never wavered, and he continued challenging himself as an athlete, pursuing a place on the National Low Point team.

But Robbie’s legacy was about so much more than his accomplishments on the court. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, infectious smile, and ability to make the people around him better. His warmth and generosity made him a teammate, mentor, and friend to so many.

Always a Wildcat, Robbie’s presence will be deeply missed by the Northeast Passage wheelchair rugby family, his teammates and friends, and the broader wheelchair rugby community.

Our deepest condolences go out to Robbie’s family, friends, teammates, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Thank you, Robbie, for everything you gave to this team and community. You will always be a Wildcat. ❤️
