North Carolina is strengthening efforts to prevent domestic violence-related deaths. Attorney General Jeff Jackson and the NC Department of Justice are coordinating statewide Domestic Violence Fatality Review Teams Collective to identify trends, share insights, and develop solutions to better protect victims, support survivors, and save lives.

📣 CALL FOR PROPOSALS NOW OPEN! 📣

The North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCCADV) is seeking dynamic and engaging presenters for our 2026 Virtual Conference taking place September 2–3, 2026!

We are looking for workshops and presentations that align with our core topic areas and supports advocates, service providers, educators, prevention professionals, and community leaders working to address domestic violence across North Carolina.

We especially encourage submissions from NCCADV member programs and folks with DYNAMIC presentation styles with experience in domestic violence services who are passionate about sharing innovative ideas, practical strategies, and community-centered approaches.

May is . 🏢 Domestic violence survivors often report that a lack of safe, affordable housing is one of the main reasons they can't safely escape abuse.

When domestic violence shelters and programs can afford to offer housing to survivors, it makes a world of difference. But federal funding delays are threatening these services and even the programs themselves.
