Editor Jocelyn Chaput and Producer Jameka Autry spoke with the audience about the documentary TIME AND WATER at this year’s film festival. The film, directed by Sara Dosa, follows Icelandic writer Andri Snær Magnason as he turns his archives into a time capsule to hold what is slipping away — family, memory, time and water.

TIME AND WATER is now playing at select theaters, and is coming soon to here in the Triangle.

THE WAY I SEE IT (Full Frame 2026) features White House photographer Pete Souza, who captured historic and intimate moments for Presidents Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan. Though the film was released in 2020, Full Frame's screening was the first time Souza had seen the film with an audience, which made the theatrical showcase, and the standing ovation that followed, even more meaningful.

At the post-screening Q&A with the filmmakers and Souza, we heard some incredible stories about how the project came to life. Hosting film teams and participants who share the challenges and joys behind their documentary projects is a large part of what makes Full Frame so special.

Producing these extraordinary encounters costs $60 per seat, of which pass and ticket sales cover only a portion. Are you able to give a gift of $60 during our second annual Full House campaign, to help sustain our mission?
