CRHS Project Graduation An all night, alcohol and drug free, adult supervised graduation for the CRHS graduating class.

For over 30 years dedicated parents, friends, teachers and community members have run this non-profit event, which provides an all-night, substance free, adult-supervised graduation party to ensure the safety of Coginchaug's graduating class. Thank you to everyone in the community who donates to project graduation; whether it is buying a calendar raffle ticket, a plant from our plant sale, or sending us a donation - it allows us to hold this fun even for the graduates! We would not be able to continue this tradition without your help.
We would especially like to thank the Durham Fair Foundation for their generous donations every year and Durham Middlefield Youth and Family Services for donating t-shirts for every student and items for the gift bags.
I would also like all the chaperones who volunteered/agreed to stay up all night, and were still smiling at 4:45 this morning.
Most of all, I would like to thank our amazing committee members for all their hard work and who make the countless hours lots of fun!

***NOTICE***
Tonight, Friday, June 12th, is the Coginchaug High School graduation. Following tradition, after the ceremony emergency services from Durham Volunteer Fire Company and Middlefield will be es**rting the busses of graduates to the Middlefield town line as they head to their Project Graduation celebration.

The es**rt usually begins around 10 pm starting at the high school, traveling Main Street, Durham to Main Street, Middlefield, to Baileyville Road and ending at the Route 66/I-691 interchange.

We understand this may be late at night and we apologize in advance for the excessive sirens and horns, but this is a unique send off for our small towns and a tradition the graduates have come to know and love.

So if you do hear us coming through town tonight, please know it is in support of our graduates. Feel free to stop along the route to wave them on wishing them good luck! It is an honor to be apart of this every year and we appreciate your understanding!
