Back-to-school jitters are completely normal! 🎒📚

Getting back into a routine, setting realistic goals, practicing calming strategies and talking with someone you trust can help you begin the school year with confidence.

Remember: You do not have to be perfect—just take it one day at a time. Have a great school year! 💙

🎭📚 Learning, laughing, and having fun!

Our students put their creativity and communication skills to the test with a lively game of charades at Summer Literacy Camp! 🌞✨

Because learning is even better when you can PLAY while you learn! 💙

Mock interviews are more than practice—they’re opportunities to build confidence, sharpen communication skills, and prepare for the future! ✨

In partnership with Pryor2Consulting, we conducted mock interviews as part of the EmpowerU workshop, where participants put their skills to the test while volunteers provided thoughtful feedback, encouragement, and real-world insight. We’re proud of the students for showing up, stepping up, and putting their best foot forward! 👏🏽

To our future community partners: Want to help empower the next generation? Connect with us and learn how you can get involved.

Stay tuned for the next EmpowerU Series! 💙

🦅 JOIN THE EAGLE VISION MOVEMENT!

GRACED, Inc. is proud to introduce our brainchild, the Eagle Vision Collective Model: a collaborative, place-based, healing-centered approach that brings high-quality programs, resources and support directly into the communities where youth and families live.

Since 2022, we have built and refined this model from our home base at Weaver Street Recreation Center. Through strong partnerships and consistent community presence, the model has created meaningful impact and supported violence reduction in the surrounding community.

Now, we have been invited to expand into additional Durham communities!
Powered through our partnership with the NCCU Psychology Department, this expansion will unite trusted organizations and providers within a coordinated network of community-based support.

We are seeking:
🔴 Community organizations
🔴 Service providers
🔴 Government agencies
🔴 Corporate and funding partners

Ideal partners provide evidence-based or evidence-informed services, have the capacity to serve at one or more community hubs, and value collaboration, measurable outcomes and sustainable community impact.

Whether you can contribute programs, resources, expertise, funding, or other support, we invite you to join the Movement!

📅 Partner Meeting: September 10, 2026

Our Summer Literacy Camp students sharpened their reading skills through interactive word games and enjoyed story time as two of our incredible volunteers brought books to life. Moments like these remind us that learning is most powerful when it's engaging and joyful!

💬 What was your favorite book as a child? Drop it in the comments—we'd love to hear your recommendations! 👇
