Last week, we had the privilege of taking our Durham and Philadelphia students to tour Duke University and A&T. Our college tours, designed to inspire ambition and ignite possibilities, are always a blast for everyone at Inspiring Minds.

A huge thank you to our intern Ezra and her classmates for showing us around campus and answering all of our questions! We have a feeling some of our students are Duke bound💙📘🎓

to our trip to the North Carolina Museum of Art for their Afrofuturism exhibition last summer! At Inspiring Minds, we are adamant about exposing our students to a variety of art, cultures, and success stories.

The students loved learning about Ruth E. Carter and all of her brilliant costume designs, including the wardrobe for Black Panther and Malcolm X. We can’t wait for our next exposure event!

Inspiring Minds aims to impact students in more ways than we can count, but our five main focuses are: education, college and career readiness, exposure to new experiences, health and wellness, and personal development. We believe that with support in these areas, the students of IM will be equipped to become the happiest, most successful versions of themselves.
