It’s the 161th anniversary of Juneteenth!

In observance of and in deference to the stolen and forced labor of enslaved people of the African diaspora, and the continued exploitation and undervaluation of the work of their Black American descendants, Parts and Parcel will be closed tomorrow, Friday, June 19th.

We will see you again for regular hours on Saturday, June 20th

We have been getting LOTS of jar donations lately (thank you!) but unfortunately, we have also had to recycle a LOT of the jars we have received.

We have a thorough process that each jar goes through to make sure you are getting jars that are safe, sanitized and ready to use. When donated jars do not meet our requirements, we have to recycle them. Please help us minimize our waste by only donating jars that meet our requirements.

Here are some things we look for when inspecting jars:
-Is it sticky or have tacky label residue on it?
-Is it plastic?
-Does it have an odor?
-Is it too big? (Wider than 6in/taller than 12in)
-Is the opening too small? (1.5in or smaller)
-Does it have a lid?
-Is it dirty?

If your donated jars check any of the above, unfortunately we can not use it in our store. Let us know if you have any questions about your donated jars and thanks for helping us reduce waste, repurpose glass jars, and recycle properly!

Over the past month, Local Artist , has been working to bring this beautiful mural to life in our store!

The palette that Candy used for this piece is a nod to CANDORs colors and the design as multifaceted as we are. The vibrancy of Candys work has brought so much joy to our space and we couldn’t not be more grateful to be a home for Candys art. Come and check out the completed piece!
