Good Evening Bragtown Community Residents and Neighbors,
We look forward to seeing you this Saturday at Braggtown Baptist Church located at 3218 North Roxboro Street Durham NC, 27704. Our Community Meetings are always the second Saturday of the month from 10:00 am till 12:00 noon. Please park to the side of the church facing Wright School, enter the side door, come down the stairs, make a left, then another quick left, walk down the short hallway into the meeting space. Everyone please sign in at the back table, and feel free to grab refreshments.

Leslie St Dre - She is with Community Land and Power's , she will be with us to discuss building an intersectional movement for land, housing and environmental justice in Durham, as well as the org's upcoming campaigns. CLP's goal is to bring together residents across the city by facilitating strategic political education, coalition building leadership development, and policy interventions that stop displacement, stop the degradation of our ecosystem, and catalyze community-led stabilization, reclamation, and development projects for the people.
The values guiding their work are rooted in the principles of interdependence solidarity economics, and Land Back to Right Relations, and the org will prioritize the needs and demands of those without safe dignified housing, as well as historically marginalized residents who deserve justice and reparations in all of their campaigns.For more information, visit CommunityLandAndPower.org
