Yesterday, we had a great time in Yanceyville, NC, providing COVID-19 testing and vaccinations. Many thanks to Dr. Anthony Okafor of Triad Choice Pharmacy, the Caswell County Health Department, and Pearson Chapel AME Church for making the event a success!

More than 150 parents and community members joined us last night for a COVID-19 Ask the Experts: Vaccinating 5-11-Year-Olds virtual town hall.

Last night's town hall was sponsored by Dr. Mary Braithwaite of Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents, P.A. along with NC Department of Health and Human Services, Durham Public Schools, Durham County Department of Public Health, African American Covid Task Force+, and Latin -19.

A huge thanks to Dr. Mary Cooley of Chapel Hill Pediatrics, Dr. Ibukun Kalu of Duke, and Dr. Charlene Wong of NCDHHS for serving as panelists.

Has your job mandated a COVID-19 vaccine? Do you want to protect yourself against the Delta variant? Come get your COVID-19 vaccination or booster shot this Sunday, October 3, 2021, from 12pm-4pm in the parking lot of the TROSA Thrift Store (3500 N. Roxboro St, Durham, NC).

We are giving away $100 gift cards for first doses and $25 gift cards for bringing someone to get their first dose (must be at least 18 years old to receive gift cards).
