A quick note about AI-labeled posts...
I want everyone who follows me to know that the words I share are mine.
I don't use AI to write my posts, my stories, or my reflections. I write them first, then occasionally use AI as an editing tool—much like asking someone to proofread for clarity or grammar.
I also use it to edit photos by removing distractions or adding the words that I wrote.
With social media now labeling some content as "Made with AI," it appears that those edits alone can sometimes trigger the label, even when the writing itself is entirely original.
I wanted to share that because authenticity matters to me. When you read something from me, you're reading my thoughts, my experiences, and what I believe the Lord has placed on my heart. AI simply helps me polish the presentation from time to time.
Thank you for trusting me and for being here.

"I don't understand what's happening."
Can we sit with those words for a moment?
Sometimes life changes so quickly that our hearts haven't caught up yet.
One phone call.
One diagnosis.
One betrayal.
One loss.
And suddenly...
nothing feels familiar anymore.
You're not just hurting.
You're trying to make sense of what just happened.
And somewhere in the middle of all that confusion...
you stop moving.
Not because you've given up.
Not because you've lost your faith.
But because you don't know where to step next.
So if that's where you find yourself tonight...
Don't worry about tomorrow.
Just hold on.
Sometimes the bravest thing we can do isn't taking the next step.
It's simply refusing to let go until we're ready.

🌙 "I don't even know who I am anymore."

Can we sit with those words for a moment?

Because I think there is a pain hidden inside them that many people understand.
Sometimes life does more than hurt us.
Sometimes it changes the way we see ourselves.
Somewhere along the way, the hurt begins attaching labels we were never meant to carry.

Rejected.
Broken.
Too much.
Not enough.
A failure.
A burden.
And after carrying those labels long enough...
we sometimes forget they were never ours in the first place.

Can I gently remind you of something?

What happened to you matters.
The pain was real.
The wounds deserve compassion.
But the things that hurt you do not get the final authority over who you become.

Healing is not pretending the hurt never happened.
Healing is slowly learning how to separate what happened to you...
from who you truly are.

So maybe today we don't try to answer every question.
Maybe today we simply start with this one...

"Who told me this was my name?"

Because maybe the first step toward finding yourself again...
is letting go of the labels that never belonged to you. 🤍

🌙 Can I share something personal with you?

This weekend, my family and I walked through one of those seasons that seemed to come out of nowhere.

In just a few days, I found myself living the very conversations I wrote about in *Why Me?*

There was the shock of, "Where did this attack come from?"

The exhaustion of, "Not another thing."

The hurt.

The anger.

The feeling of, "I don't know if I can carry one more burden."

Every emotion I wrote about suddenly wasn't just on the pages anymore. It was right in front of me.

By the third day though, something began to change.
The storm hadn't changed. The circumstances hadn't changed.

But the Lord gently reminded me of the very truths He had been teaching me while I was writing Why Me?

Hold on.

It's okay to grieve.

It's okay to be angry.

It's okay to set healthy boundaries.

Just don't let go of Me.

Through the prayers of dear friends and family, and through letting it out to the Lord, the weight I had been carrying began to lift.

I can't explain it any other way except to say that, even while the storm remained, my heart found peace again.
I still had difficult decisions to make.
I still needed to borrow strength from those closest to me.
Our family is still praying and believing for breakthrough.

But somehow, in the middle of it all, I can see God strengthening us one day at a time.

Why do I share this?

Because I never wanted *Why Me?* to be a book written from a place I had already left. It was written while I was still walking.

And this weekend, God gently reminded me that the truths He had been teaching me all along were still true.

Sometimes the message we are called to share becomes the very message we need to hear ourselves.

If you're walking through a season that feels heavier than you know how to carry, I hope you'll remember this:

God has not stopped walking with you.

And neither should you stop holding on.

One breath at a time. 🤍

For a long time, I carried a question that I could never seem to answer.

Why me?

Why this loss?
Why this grief?
Why this betrayal?
Why this diagnosis?
Why does it feel like everyone else keeps moving while I am simply trying to survive?

I searched for answers.

What I found instead was something I never expected.

Presence.

A God who was not afraid of my questions.
People who stayed when they could not fix anything.
Hope that returned so quietly I almost missed it.

Tonight, after months of writing, rewriting, crying, praying, and remembering, I typed the final words of a book that has lived in my heart for a very long time.

Why Me?

Not a book filled with easy answers.

Not a book that tells you everything happens for a reason.

Not a book that asks you to pretend you are okay.

It is a conversation.

The kind that happens when two people sit together, look out at the waves, and finally tell the truth about what hurts.

If you have ever felt forgotten…
If you have ever wondered where God was…
If you have ever smiled while silently falling apart…
If you have ever asked, "How do I keep going?"

This book was written with you in mind.

My prayer is simple: that somewhere in these pages you feel seen, understood, and reminded that you do not have to carry the weight alone.

Because sometimes the greatest gift we can offer another person is not an explanation.

It is the willingness to stay.

Why Me?

Today, something very personal has been released.

Restored Identity and the Restored Identity Participation Guide are now live.

This was not written quickly.
It was not written lightly.
And it was not written from a place of having everything figured out.

It was written from walking through it.

From understanding what it feels like to carry things that were never yours.
From learning how identity can be shaped by pain, silence, and misunderstanding.
And from slowly discovering what it means to heal in a way that is honest, steady, and rooted in truth.

This is not a book that rushes you.
It does not ask you to perform, fix yourself, or move faster than you are ready.

It creates space.

Space to:
– understand your story
– release what was never yours to carry
– separate truth from what was learned in survival
– and begin walking in who you truly are

The participation guide was created alongside it for those who want to go deeper—to not just read, but to process, reflect, and walk through this intentionally.

Everything in this is rooted in the belief that true restoration comes from God—
not through pressure, but through truth, patience, and His presence in the process.

If this is something you feel led to step into, both are now available here:

Restored Identity wasn’t written from theory.
It was written through personal lived experience—
through trauma, through healing, and learning to see God rightly again.
There were seasons I didn’t recognize myself.
Seasons where what I had been through felt louder than who I was.
This book was written from that place… and toward something different.
Restored Identity is an invitation—
not to rush healing,
not to perform,
but to begin seeing yourself differently.
