Mission Statement

A Sporting Chance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to introducing the next generation of young people to the outdoors through education, mentorship, and hands-on experiences. Our mission is to provide underprivileged and underserved youth with opportunities to participate in outdoor traditions such as coastal fishing, waterfowl hunting, migratory bird conservation, and ethical deer harvesting.

Through these experiences, we teach the values of conservation, wildlife stewardship, sportsmanship, responsibility, and respect for our natural resources. By equipping youth with the knowledge, skills, and outdoor gear needed to continue these traditions into adulthood, we strive to create educated outdoorsmen and women who will protect and preserve our wildlife and fisheries for future generations.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the outdoors, regardless of their background or financial circumstances. By fostering a connection to nature and promoting conservation-minded practices, A Sporting Chance is helping build a stronger future for our communities, our natural resources, and the generations that follow
