Today at the Muscatine County Fairgrounds their were Monster Truck Wars 🛞! Finley was lucky enough to have her FIRST public appearance at the Pre Pit Party 🎉!
She got to enjoy the experience with her two cousins, Stella and Kinnick, and even got to race her Pink Powerwheel Jeep! They even had a Monster Bus 🚌 for rides that was super bumpy and fun!

Muscatine County grows a wide variety of crops such as;
🫘 Soybeans
🌽 Seed & Sweet Corn
🥔 Potato’s
But arguably the most notable is the… MUSCATINE MELON 🍉!

Finley is lucky enough to be raised in a family that produces these crops. Schlapkohl Family Farm’s proudly produces soybeans and seed corn. Finley’s cousin, Shane Mairet, also owns and operates Mairet’s Garden Center on the island of Muscatine where you can find all the fresh produce, such as Muscatine Melon’s in the summer months and pumpkins in the fall.

Hello Everyone!
My name is Finley Durant, and I am your current 2023 Muscatine County Future Little Miss Heart Of The USA. This is my first official title I am holding, and I am SUPER excited to represent such an amazing organization.
I thought it would be fun to share some facts about myself;
🎃 I will be turning six in October.
💚 I just started year five of baton and dance.
🏫 I attend Durant Community Schools.
🐱 I have a cat named Cookie.
🏝 I love the beach and traveling.
💖 My favorite color is pink.
