You are not alone.

My name is Donna Middleton and my husband is Phil Middleton. We are the founders of this group. We’re the parents of a 20-year-old son with Schitzoaffective Disorder. He was diagnosed at the age of 16.

We are not licensed therapists or counselors. We are just parents learning and discovering how to best support our son and each other. We see a need in the community for a caregiver sharing group: a supportive place where people who care for their loved ones with a mental illness can come together and freely share their fears, struggles, frustrations, resources and victories.

We meet the first Monday of the month from 6-7:15 p.m. There is no charge for this group. The first sharing group will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019. The location is the First United Methodist Church, 2917 Aspen Drive in Durango, Colorado.

For more information, contact Donna at 970-759-9944 or Phil at 970-759-9775.
