Alumni Spotlight: Lindsey Reed (Environmental Studies, '23). Lindsey works as a Fire Ambassador for the Angel Fire Fire Department in New Mexico. As a member of the department since 2024, Reed conducts community outreach around wildfire preparedness. As a part of this work, she spends a lot of time connecting with residents, helping them understand wildfire risk and how to improve defensible space around their homes. She loves getting out into the community and sharing mitigation advice, knowing that these small steps can make a real difference in protecting homes and the surrounding forest.

FLC alumni have been there, done that, and are flying high in their life and career pursuits. We love when Skyhawks come back to campus to share their knowledge and experiences with students. That's what happened last month at a Career Services and Athletics Department panel with alumni Cody Wilderman ('08), Emma Millar ('11), Jessica Copp ('98), Ryan Lee ('21), and Hunter Villavicencio ('25). The panel was modered by Skyhawk super fan Robin Duffy-Wirth and organized by Adam Pecan. Contact the Alumni Office if you are interested in mentorship or guest speaking opportunities on campus.
