By utilizing the most established trade routes in America via the USPS, iCanCompost is able to service any ecologically minded citizen. When you sign up, you'll receive priority mailboxes on your doorstep in tandem with an iCanCompost Kit that includes compostable closures (which we use instead of tape) half of which will have prepaid postage fixed to them, instructions about what you can and cannot compost, compostable plastic bags, and coming soon you'll be able to purchase our proprietary "iCan", a top that covers your food scrap box. Once your box is full of food scraps, you are ready to mail your iCan away. Composting helps reduce carbon, methane, and other GHG emissions and assists in reducing the amount of garbage that ends up in landfills. iCanCompost allows ecologically minded consumers to recycle their food scraps aerobically, rather than putting them in trash bags that causes the waste to decompose anaerobically.
