The Foundation donated, in JP's memory, to Ms. Root's classroom at McCoy Elementary School this month. Providing much needed snacks to the underprivileged young students. We received this great letter of thanks:
"Thanks to your generosity, our classroom has been filled with excitement, motivation, and full bellies! The snacks have helped students stay focused and ready to learn throughout the school day, especially during long afternoons when energy levels can drop. The prize box items have become a powerful tool for encouraging positive behavior, kindness, and hard work. My students are so proud when they earn a reward, and it has helped create a positive classroom environment where students encourage one another and celebrate successes together.
When the students first saw the new snacks and prize box supplies, they were thrilled! Their faces lit up with excitement, and many immediately began talking about how hard they were going to work to earn rewards. One of my favorite moments was watching students cheer for classmates who earned prizes for showing kindness or perseverance. These resources have helped make our classroom feel even more supportive, encouraging, and student-centered.
As we continue through the school year, these materials will continue supporting both academic learning and social-emotional growth. Students are learning responsibility, goal-setting, and positive decision-making while staying engaged in classroom lessons and activities. Your support has made a meaningful difference in our classroom, and my students and I are incredibly grateful for your kindness and generosity.
