Southwest Colorado Gives is a regional champion of Colorado Gives Day, organized locally by the Community Foundation serving SW CO, offering an opportunity to easily give where you live to over 100 local nonprofits on one safe, secure platform.

Colorado Gives Day is Tuesday, December 8 this year! This statewide giving event helps nonprofits across Colorado, including the ones you already know and love.

The Good for Business Challenge makes giving back easier than ever, especially for local businesses that already support their local charities. You can create a free group giving page on Colorado Gives, choose the local nonprofits your company wants to support, and invite your employees, customers, and board to give alongside you starting November 1.

If you raise $1,000 during Colorado Gives Day, your business will be entered to win $1,000 cash prizes for the organizations you chose.

The food bank, health resources, the early childhood programs, and so many other services in our community show up for us all year. December 8 is a good day to show up for them.

The CAUSE internship started this week! We partnered 11 students up with 11 amazing nonprofits to support them in their 2026 Colorado Gives Marketing Campaigns. Throughout the month of June our talented interns will attend marketing classes, analyze their nonprofits brand, and create beautiful marketing material.They have been equipped with three new AI trainings to teach them how to ethically use AI for their time ahead. We can’t wait to see what these interns produce this year to support their community!

The CAUSE (Community Action Utilizing Service Experience) Internship began in 2021. This incredible opportunity came in order to offer high school students valuable, hands-on experience while giving nonprofits support in marketing their incredible work for Southwest Colorado Gives Day.

Nonprofits involved receive more than just a helping hand and marketing support, they receive $2,500 to support their mission. These paid interns will produce work that benefits their nonprofit and receive a competitive, full-time hourly wage.
