Life is too short to waste time being scared. Andrea Vigil embodies a fearlessness that says yes in the face of uncertainty.

Even when pulmonary edema forced her down Mt Kilimanjaro before reaching the summit, that harrowing experience taught her that setbacks don’t define the future. She’s since trekked the Annapurna Trail in the Himalayas and is a passionate backpacker. Two years ago, she discovered rowing at the Orlando Rowing Club and found her people.

When HPP’s team captain asked Andrea if she wanted to row around the Great American Loop, Andrea said yes immediately. Because when you lean into what scares you, that’s when growth happens.
