We have heard some other wildlife rehabs telling folks that we don’t intake animals, We have dozens of new intakes filling the hospital so where they heard this from is wrong! Just because we don’t have fosters for baby squirrels and baby rabbits doesn't mean we are not intaking animals.

Mind you we have the most buildings in the stateline for Birds of Prey. We ARE the only facility that can Intake up to 150 Birds of Prey! Bald Eagles, hawks, Owls and others. Also we are the only facility in the stateline with not one but 3 enclosures for Foxes, bobcats and coyotes.

Also had a wildlife rehab telling people to just show up to Hoo Haven. This is also incorrect information we are appointment only as we are volunteer ran.

This is not a game of who can bash who… We do the work we do and you do the work you do. We only intake what we can provide the best of the best care to. We don’t care about numbers for grants.

We stay in our own lane… We don’t direct people to flood other rehabs we give out the IDNR list and let folks go down the list.
