Again, I want to thank Arevon Energy for supporting our community not only by buying around $1500 in school supplies for the Durand area but also by purchasing 28 Shiawassee County Fair tickets for families in our community so those children could go to the fair.

It looks like we are close to a final count now. We didn't break our record, but our team of amazing contributors and volunteers was able to help 203 students this year! It was a blast as always, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you to all involved. I'll try to tag everyone, but if I forget anyone, I am truly sorry because without you all, this wouldn't happen. Thank you!

Ever set up an event, lined up all the partners, and then worried no one would actually show? That's me tonight.

I hope that the Back to School Supply Giveaway draws the students it usually does, or more. I'm always like this before a big event. Sleep will be a struggle tonight.
