Aŋpétu wašté relatives,

Today we are at the Isabel community building. We'll be starting our 2026 Summer ME Program at 5:30 pm and go until 8:00 pm.

We look forward to being in space together. Toksa ake.

Our apologies for not being able to make Day 2 in Blackfoot, we wanted everyone to be safe during the severe weather that was forecasted to move in yesterday.

A friendly reminder that our programs are MST.

Aŋpétu wašte relatives, especially those special little participants in Swiftbird.

We decided to stay at Unci Oti in Dupree and didn't want to risk the safety of our Swiftbird relatives due to the severe thunderstorm potentials in your area. Stay safe.

Toksa ake, we'll be back. ♥️

Aŋpétu wašte relatives

This week we are in Swiftbird and Iron Lightning Communities starting at 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Come as you are and when you can.

This summer in our communities without an available gathering space, we are planning to put up our tusweca tipestola and our learning tent to share space together.

We will share our IMAGEN asset tool, talk about the importance of Wotakuye, share a meal together, make rawhide earrings, spend time with Unci Maka and our plant relatives.

Would you like to learn
●How to make a natural household cleaner and learn about composting
●Make a pair of rawhide earrings
●How to identify some plant relatives
●Wotakuye and see where on the family tree we are all related.

Join us on the evenings we are in your community.

Aŋpétu wašte relatives,

Yesterday evening in the community of Thunder Butte was a beautiful evening. This evening we will go on a plant walk and see what unci Maka has to share. We will make a natural household cleaner and be set up at the roadside park.

Let us share a couple images of our time in Thunder Butte.

Next week we will be in Swiftbird and Iron Lightning communities.

Anpetu waste relatives

This week was a great start to our Summer ME Program!!

We met with girls and women in Bear Creek and in Dupree at Unci Oti. We made rawhide earrings, discussed family trees, and went on plant walks. In Dupree, we harvested dandelion stems as noodles for our buffalo spaghetti sauce. We appreciated that the girls were open to trying something new to eat and shared their honest feedback. 😁😋

Next week we are in the communities of Whitehorse and Swiftbird starting at 5:30 pm and be in space together until 8:00 pm.

Have a safe and fun weekend, toksa ake.

Happy Native Nonprofit Day‼️

Native Nonprofit Day is a giving initiative aimed at increasing support for Native-led organizations nationwide.

Native-led nonprofits receive less than 0.3% of foundation dollars, while Native people represent nearly 3% of the U.S. population. Your support on Native Nonprofit Day and every day makes a difference.

For 100 Horses Women’s Society, donations help us to host events and gatherings like our girls and women's cultural weekend in the fall. We traveled to our sacred sites, made our offerings, and shared teachings and history of the sites we visit. We are planning to host another weekend this coming fall.

We can be found on the Native Ways Federation vetted Native Nonprofit list, along with other Native-led nonprofits. The platform is open all year long for donations as well.
