From our final Shabbat together last week to the hugs, laughter, and goodbyes of the last day, what an incredible way to close out another unforgettable summer at Camp Barney Medintz. 💙

This summer was filled with adventure, friendship, traditions, new experiences, and the kind of memories that stay with you long after the buses pull away. We’re so grateful for every camper, counselor, staff member, and family who made Summer 2026 so special.

What. A. Week. 💙💚❤️💛

Second Session is flying by, and this week brought one of Camp Barney Medintz's most beloved traditions: Color War! Campers poured their hearts into every challenge, cheering on their teammates, showing incredible sportsmanship, and giving it everything they had.

Congratulations to Blue on taking home the win—but every team brought the spirit, energy, and ruach that make Color War so unforgettable.

With just one more week of camp to go, we're soaking up every moment! Here's to making this final week one to remember. Shabbat Shalom!

The days are flying by, but the memories just keep getting bigger!

Now in our second week of Second Session, Camp Barney Medintz is buzzing with adventure, ruach, and nonstop smiles. Whether it's a first ride down the Omega zip line, a favorite tune at a song session, a cabin inside joke, or cheering on new friends, these are the moments that make CBM so unforgettable.

Watching another session unfold at Our Summer Place is a wonderful reminder of what makes this community so special. We can't wait to see what the next few weeks have in store for these incredible campers!

First Session at Camp Barney Medintz may have come to a close, but the memories, friendships, and growth will last far beyond the summer.

Over the past few weeks, campers laughed, challenged themselves, discovered new passions, strengthened their confidence, and built a community that embodies the spirit of Camp Barney. From unforgettable adventures and meaningful Shabbat celebrations to countless moments of joy in between, it was a session filled with the magic that makes Our Summer Place so special.

To all of our First Session campers, families, and staff: thank you for an incredible first half of summer.

Now, we can't wait to do it all again! Second Session begins Monday, and we are ready to welcome another amazing group of campers for a summer they'll never forget!

First up: Lily Trompeter from Lehavah BBG, sharing her experience at CLTC 1 this summer☀️

"In just 12 days, CLTC became my second home. I made friendships that I know will last forever, created so many amazing memories, and learned more than I ever expected. This experience helped me grow as a leader, strengthened my Jewish identity, and showed me how powerful sisterhood really is. I'm so grateful for everything this program gave me, and I can't wait to bring what I learned back to Lehavah.
