One week in, and the magic of Camp Barney Medintz is already on full display. 💙

From cheering on new friends, singing together, exploring activities across camp, and embracing every moment in between, our campers have jumped headfirst into the joy, community, and spirit that make Our Summer Place so special.

This summer, keep your teen athlete moving, motivated, and building confidence with Power Up Sports Performance!

Designed for ages 12–18, this specialized training program helps young athletes improve speed, strength, agility, conditioning, and overall sports performance through structured, age-appropriate workouts. Whether they play football, basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, track & field, or just want to become a stronger athlete, Power Up helps teens stay active and sharpen their skills all summer long.

Tuesdays and Thursdays starting June 2 at 5:30 pm.

Through his deeply personal story, Sami shares an inspiring message about overcoming adversity and using one’s experiences to create positive change in the world. Presented by our Lisa F. Brill Institute for Jewish Learning.

We can talk about the amazing features of Camp Barney—the lakes, the activities, the traditions.

But what makes it extra special are the in-between moments—
walking to activities with your cabin,
laughing in the bunk at night,
the way friendships form so quickly.

On May 16 and 17 prospective families are invited to take a tour of camp—this is an amazing chance to walk the campus, see where all the excitement happens, and start to picture your child at Our Summer Place.
