Greetings friends,
I write to you today to make an empassioned plea for a very good cause. This wonderful group that I associate with finds themself in a postion to have to find a new home for their sweat lodge, after 40 years of open and inclusive service to the community. Anyone who has ever attended a sweat can tell you that they are powerful and inspiring.
Spirit of the Wind is a native Karuk lodge ran in the traditional way. She has had visitors from around the world.
We are working hard on this campaign to raise money to fund the purchase of our own land to continue the sweat lodge in the traditional way. Great strides have been made already, but we are asking for the publics help to go all the way.
