🩵 FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED — A Familiar Face Needs Us Again 🩵

You may remember Duke. A few months ago, we were urgently searching for a foster for him during his amputation recovery… and instead, he found a home. 🐾
For a while, Duke had everything he deserved.

Sadly, Duke’s adopter passed away suddenly and tragically. Their family is heartbroken — and through no fault of Duke’s, they are unable to keep him within their circle.

Duke is currently safe in a temporary foster home, but we urgently need to find him a more stable placement — whether that’s a long-term foster or a forever home.

✨ For those new to Duke:
Duke came to us back in July underweight, missing part of his tail, and still the sweetest Malinois you could ever meet. Within just two months, he found his person — and spent the last three months knowing love, comfort, and consistency.

Duke is:
• Incredibly affectionate with people
• Smart, expressive, and deeply connected
• A true Malinois — meaning he thrives with mental and physical enrichment

Duke needs an active home that understands the breed. With proper outlets, Duke is a loyal adventure buddy and a total cuddle bug at the end of the day.

Update!! Daniel successfully fulfilled his goal! He made it to Disneyland where he was able to build his very own lightsaber. Thank you to everybody for donating your cans and bottles and helping this young man find his dreams. 🎉🎉Congratulations Daniel!🎉🎉

Hello friends! Today we helped Daniel with $100 donation towards his very anticipated trip to Disneyland. He'll be selling his very tasty lemonade throughout the weekend. Stop by and try a glass and help this young man with his goals.

As we approach spring in the weather continues to warm we will be needing help with events throughout our community. We have partnered with several events and collect large amounts of recyclable bottles and cans. As I am a one-man show and I work two jobs this becomes a little tedious. The work is quite simple I just need a little help. Mostly what I need help with is monitoring and switching out bags when they get full. The plus side of all this is you get to attend events for free. Often you get free t-shirts, drinks, gift bags and more. But most of all you get the satisfaction of helping many pets and children. Last year we were able to sponsor adoption fees for three animals at the Siskiyou Humane Society, helped buy presents for 15 children during Christmas along with many other donations and contributions. If I get a little help I believe we can double that. If you're interested please let me know and I can give you more information and work out the details. Thank you!
