Valentines making this Monday the 19th at The Sandhills Corral, 5:30pm. The restaurant is letting us use the East Room. Open invite for anybody interested.I will bring some supplies, but if anyone would like to bring more, they are welcome. Stuff like stickers, doilies, and fancy markers work well. Construction paper is always helpful.

We will be collecting most of the Valentines and have kids pass them out in the community.

If you have questions, please send a message.

Having any idea of how many folks are coming would be helpful. If you know you’re coming, please message.

We would like to ask Dunning citizens to not use the gazebo in the park yet, as it is not completed. There is a Christmas tree in it for all to enjoy - from the ground. But please do not climb up in the gazebo. If you see someone in it after this evening, kindly ask them to get out of it.

A special thank you to Rhonda Whitten, Emily Hiatt, Melissa Freeman, Roxannie Payne, Linda Teahon, Marcia and Chet Wales, Jill Cadwallader, and Pastor Steve Whitten for all your work and help before, during, and after this big event. I believe it was deemed a huge success and plans are being talked about what else can happen at our next year's event!!!

Thank you everyone that attended the Dunning Christmas Fest, or decorated a tree, came for Hot Chocolate, to decorate a cookie, make a wreaths, or for supper and sandwiches, and fellowship.

If anyone needs branches of ponderosa pine, there are a bunch on the west side of community building. So help yourselves to make any wreaths/boughs for the holidays! Whatever is left after this week will be disposed of.

Thank you for all who came to the Holiday Fest last night! Congrats to the tree contest winners:
1st place: Emily Hiatt and Zara
2nd place: Heritage Museum
3rd place: Sandhills HS FFA group
We had a total of 14 trees in the building so we have to beat that number next year! MERRY CHRISTMAS! 🎄

Rhonda Whitten and Emily Hiatt are planning a meeting at the Spur, tomorrow at 10 AM, to plan out a Christmas Tree Decoration contest and Silent auction fund raiser for the Village. Anyone that is interested in helping or would like to participate, you are invited to come on out. Or, let one of them know if you can't make it, but want to be included. Thank you so much!!

The Fall Community Potluck is Tuesday evening at 6 at the Community Hall. Potluck will be followed by an informative meeting by the Village Board of the debt the village carries and upcoming increase of the utilities. Bring your favorite dish. Everyone is welcome.
