Dunn Area Rotary Club The Dunn Area Rotary Club is the premier civic club in the Dunn area after a merger of the Dunn and Dunn-Erwin clubs effective July 1, 2025. Come and join us!

Together for more opportunities for our members and more impact on our community and beyond. Our club meets at Western Sizzlin Steakhouse in Dunn, the first and third Wednesday of each month at 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.

The Dunn Area Rotary Club is proud to recognize Sydney Bradham of Dunn as the Student of the Week.

Sydney is now a graduate of Triton High School and the daughter of David and Meredith Bradham. During her time at Triton, she has been actively involved in FBLA, FFA, Juniorettes, National Technical Honors Society, and Beta Club. She has served as the President of both the FBLA and NTHS her junior and senior years.

Sydney has also been active in sports participating on the Softball and Volleyball teams all four years while also participating in Travel Volleyball. She has also worked part-time at Jeffrey's Florist and Jeffrey Surles Living since her sophomore year. She is very active in her church, First Presbyterian, where she often plays piano and sings.

After graduation, Sydney plans to attend Campbell University to pursue a degree in Nursing.

The Dunn Area Rotary Club is proud to recognize Karson Tudor of Angier as the Student of the Week.
Karson is a senior at Triton High School and the son of Kevin and Kandi Tudor. During his time at Triton, he has been actively involved in FFA, FCS, NTHS, Peer Tutoring, SkillsUSA, and Beta Club. He has also been a member of the Men’s Golf Team for all four years, earning All-Conference honors for two years and qualifying for the Men’s Golf State Championship.
In addition to his school involvement, Karson has volunteered and served as an employee with the Erwin Parks and Recreation Department. He has also volunteered at Coats Farmers Day and with the Benson Thanksgiving Food Bank. Karson attends Overflow Church in Benson.
After graduation, Karson plans to attend NC State University to pursue a degree in Turfgrass Management.

The Dunn Area Rotary Club is proud to recognize Chimere Wright of Dunn as the Student of the Week.

Chimere is a senior at Triton High School and the daughter of Erica Wright. During her time at Triton, she has been actively involved in Big Brother Big Sisters, Interact, FCCLA, and Beta Club. She has also served on the Yearbook staff and participated in the Triton Choir for the past three years.

In addition to her school involvement, Chimere completed an internship at Erwin Elementary during her junior and senior years.

After graduation, Chimere plans to attend Fayetteville State University to pursue a degree in Psychology, with the goal of becoming a social worker.

The Dunn Area Rotary Club is proud to recognize Anslee Putnam of Erwin as the Student of the Week.

Anslee is a senior at Triton High School and the daughter of Erica and Jonathon Putnam. During her time at Triton, she has been actively involved in HOSA, where she served as Historian and earned two Gold Medals. She has also participated in Blue Crew, Juniorettes, National Honor Society, and Beta Club.

In addition to her school involvement, Anslee has worked part-time providing after-school childcare and has volunteered as a Nursery Worker at her church, The ROC. She has also served through the HOSA Blood Drive, Prom Promise, and Project Not Forgotten.

After graduation, Anslee plans to attend Campbell University to pursue a degree in Nursing, with the ultimate goal of becoming a pediatric cardiac nurse.

Club President Rob Jones and Rotarian Mason Poe proudly showing off our honors for our club’s contributions toToys for Tots! Special thanks to Mason for all he does to support Toys for Tots and the families in our community. This year, the program was able to help more than 3,500 children across our area receive gifts and encouragement during the holiday season. We’re grateful to be part of making a difference!

The Dunn Area Rotary Club is proud to recognize Emma Watson of Dunn as the Student of the Week. Emma, a senior at Triton High School, is the daughter of Brian and Karen Watson.
During her time at Triton, Emma has been actively involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters for all four years. She has also participated in the Key Club, FCCLA, DECA, and the Beta Club, demonstrating her commitment to leadership, service, and academic excellence.
After graduation, Emma plans to attend Campbell University to pursue a degree in Exercise Science. Upon earning her bachelor’s degree, she intends to continue her education in Occupational Therapy School with the goal of becoming a travel occupational therapist.
