🐾🐾COURTESY POST 🐾🐾

Ballard WV…Dozer is looking for a new home!

This handsome boy will be three in March and is UTD on all vaccinations and neutered. He is great with farm animals including chickens, sheep & cows and regularly stays around livestock by himself with no issues. He does well with their other dog and visiting dogs in their family but does resource guard food and treats. He was also raised with children and has never been aggressive towards them.

However when he is in his pen or secured by a leash or tether, he lunges at strangers that approach and has nipped a few. But when he is out of his pen, he is immediately friendly to the same people that he just lunged at. They have him trained to stay near the house without a line or leash but does roam off occasionally but always comes back after a few hours. He is generally crate and house trained but has displayed the same behavior in his crate when strangers come into the home.

Dozer is a great boy and this is a very difficult decision for his owners, but they have too many visitors to their farm and orchard to safely keep him and reached out for help finding him a better fit home. For more information, please call Issac at #304-890-7103 🐾

💕UPDATE!💕 Foster to adopt home pending!! 😊

🐾Foster or foster to adopt home needed for Maple ❤️🐾

At not even two years on this earth, this sweet girl has overcome so much. She was emaciated, had severe flea dermatitis where her hair was almost non-existent and was even hit by a car 😔 But with the help of a good samaritan and now Sandy at our rescue kennel, Maple is healing great medically.

But what she needs now is a foster or foster to adopt home to help her heal mentally. She is a very soft, shy and submissive girl who needs help learning to trust. She does amazing with other dogs and even cats and kids, but new people scare her and it takes a while for her to let you into her circle. But once you’re in, you’re in forever ❤️

Maple needs to be in a home setting and not a kennel. Can someone please give her that by fostering her for us? She’s about 1.5 years old, UTD on all vaccines and spayed. She needs a foster home with another dog friend, a fenced in yard, and no chickens. Breed experience is a plus but a loving and patient heart is a must ❤️

Please email us at [email protected] if you can help. She is currently at our rescue kennel in WV but fosters can be located anywhere on the east coast and neighboring states.

Samson update ❤️ It’s not the update that we all hoped for but he’s a fighter and we’ll be fighting right along with him ❤️

In spite of our best efforts, and his wonderful fosters efforts, Samson will never walk again 😔 With this syndrome it is imperative to get treatment early, and unfortunately his previous owner waited too long to reach out for help. While he has shown some improvement with his flexors and bends, he has regressed with wanting to stand and/or walk at all. He’s a growing puppy and his weight and size have now come into play. So now we are going the wheelchair route. He has an appointment on Thursday with the rehab specialist and hopefully she’ll be able to get him fit in a wheelchair that she has available there. If not, we’ll have to get one made for him. But either way, we’re going to do whatever we need to in order to help Sammie ❤️

And this sweet boy had yet another setback…His pneumonia came back with a vengeance. So much so that he spent four days in the ER on oxygen and heavy meds, and honestly we were worried if he would pull through 💔 But he did!! And he’s doing really good right now…Told you he’s a fighter! 🥰

Samson’s road may be a long one, but he’s not giving in! He’s got a whole wonderful lifetime ahead and he’s GOING to live it, wheels and all ❤️🐾

If anyone wants to help us with Sammie’s journey, our PayPal is [email protected]. We know times are tough these days, so just keeping him in your thoughts would be really great and appreciated too ❤️

ADOPTION PENDING ❤️🐾

Buford 🧡 Available for adoption or foster to adopt 🐾

This handsome guy joined us after his dad sadly passed away 😔 He was heading on a path to the shelter but thankfully Sandy took him in at the rescue kennel 💕

Buford was an only dog at his previous home but he does wonderfully and enjoys playing with the other dogs at the rescue although he does need to be fed separately. He is around 6 years old and because of all that skin ☺️ he looks heavier than he is which is around 80lbs. He is neutered, HW-, UTD on vaccinations and micro-chipped.

Buford is located at our rescue kennel in Dunmore WV where a meet and greet can definitely be arranged. Transport assistance is also available to the right home. For more information please EMAIL us at [email protected] 🐾

Suzi 🧡 Available for adoption 🐾

This very special girl joined our rescue after her elderly mom Betty passed away 😔 They adored each other and now Suzi hopes to find another person who will love her as much as Betty did 💕

Suzi is a senior at around 8 years old, and is a full figured girl ☺️ Her foster family has her on a diet and she’s doing great! Her energy is coming back and she is just such a joy ❤️ She gets along with all of their other dogs and their cat, and loves to go for walks and lay in the sun. While we think she would do fine with kids, we feel she would really thrive in a quieter setting. She has perfect house manners, loves her ears scratched and enjoys car rides and new adventures 🐾

Suzi is spayed, UTD on vaccinations and micro-chipped. She is being fostered in SC but transport assistance is available to the right home. For more information please message this page or email us at [email protected]🐾
