A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the Bureau of Prisons to reinstate a collective bargaining agreement with the agency's union after the bureau's director abruptly terminated it last year.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for labor today at the John Mitchell Statue in Scranton.

We honored the men and women who built the labor movement right here in America, including John Mitchell and the generations of workers who fought for dignity, fairness, and a better future.

Our Executive Board also reminded everyone of something just as important today: get out and vote for the people who stand with labor.

And thank you to the elected officials who continue to support working people with their votes in the State Assembly and in local government.

Labor built this country, and labor still has a voice. When we stand together, vote together, and fight together, we are stronger. 🇺🇸💪🏼
