Every paper airplane starts with a simple fold and a lot of potential. That's how we see advocacy at CASA of the Sequatchie Valley: a simple act of standing up that creates momentum for a childโ€™s safe and stable future. ๐Ÿ“„โœˆ๏ธ Letโ€™s unite for our local children.

Itโ€™s simple, but it changes everything.

When a child is navigating the foster care system, they donโ€™t just need a caseworker or a legal fileโ€”they need a human being who is fully in their corner.
๐Ÿ’™ They need someone to listen to their fears and dreams.
๐Ÿ’™ They need someone to show up to court dates, school meetings, and milestones.
๐Ÿ’™ They need someone to advocate fiercely for their best interests.
๐Ÿ’™ They need someone to genuinely care about their future.
CASA volunteers do all four. You don't need a special degree to be the anchor a child needsโ€”you just need the willingness to be there.

Foster care brings a wave of unfamiliarity. CASA brings consistency. ๐ŸŒŠโœจ

When a child enters the foster care system, everything changes in an instant. Their home, their school, their friends, and their routine...gone. But a CASA volunteer stays. Through the moves, the new schools, and the uncertainty, a Court Appointed Special Advocate is the one constant factor a child can count on.

Want to be that one constant? Let's talk.
