💙 September is Kinship Care Month 💙

This month, CASA honors the grandparents, relatives, and other kinship caregivers who open their homes and hearts to children when they need family most.

Kinship caregivers help children stay connected to the people, traditions, and communities they know and love while providing something every child deserves safety, stability, and a sense of belonging.

To every kinship caregiver who stepped up when a child needed you: we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you. ❤️💙

📖 CASA Word of the Week: Consistency

For children experiencing uncertainty, so much can change—where they live, the people around them, their routines, their schools, and what tomorrow may look like.

That’s why consistency matters. ❤️💙

A CASA volunteer can be a steady presence who keeps showing up, listening, advocating, and reminding a child that their voice matters.

Sometimes the greatest difference we can make is simply being someone a child can count on. ❤️

Be the constant. Become a CASA.

Today, we honor a woman whose legacy reached far beyond the stage. 🤍✨

Dolly Parton gave the world unforgettable music, stories, laughter, and a whole lot of sparkle but one of her most beautiful gifts was the love she poured into children. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she helped place books into the hands of millions of children, opening doors to imagination, learning, confidence, and brighter futures. 📚🦋

At CASA, we believe every child deserves someone who believes in them, encourages their dreams, and helps them write a brighter chapter of their story. Dolly showed us just how powerful it can be when we invest in a child. 🩷

Her songs will live on. Her kindness will live on. And the countless children touched by her generosity will carry her legacy forward.

✨ We will always love you, Dolly. ✨

With love,
CASA of the Sequatchie Valley🩷🤍
