Our Annual Public Meeting is coming up, and we are looking for NCLL families who are willing to get involved and help make our league even better.
📅 Thursday, October 1st at 6:00 PM
📍 Northeast Community Center
The meeting is open to current board members, coaches, umpires, and parents of any player who participated in the 2026 spring and/or fall seasons.
HELP CHOOSE THE 2027 EXECUTIVE BOARD
Each year, NCLL elects its 7-member Executive Board. These individuals help provide the leadership and direction that keeps our league moving forward.
Executive Board positions include:
🔺 President
🔺 Director of Baseball Operations
🔺 Director of Softball Operations
🔺 Treasurer
🔺 Secretary
🔺 Umpire-in-Chief
🔺 Safety Officer
Nominations are open to all NCLL families.
If you have ever thought, “Someone should really do something about that…” — maybe that someone could be YOU. 😉
THERE ARE ALSO MANY WAYS TO HELP WITHOUT JOINING THE EXECUTIVE BOARD
NCLL has a variety of Board of Director positions that allow you to contribute your time, skills, and ideas in areas that interest you.
Open positions include:
🔹 Player Agents for each baseball/softball division
🔹 Information & Communications Coordinator
🔹 Social Media Coordinator
🔹 Fundraising & Sponsorship Coordinator
🔹 Coach Training Coordinator
🔹 Equipment Managers
🔹 Uniform Managers
🔹 Player Training Coordinators
🔹 Field Maintenance Coordinator
🔹 Special Events Coordinator
And these roles really matter!
Player Agents help ensure our players are properly placed and supported. Equipment and Uniform Managers make sure our teams have what they need. Field Maintenance keeps our kids on safe, playable fields. Fundraising and Sponsorship help provide the resources our league needs. Communications and Social Media keep families informed and connected. Special Events create the experiences our kids remember.
Every one of these positions fills a piece of the puzzle.
WE NEED MORE HELPING HANDS
Our league is growing, and the workload cannot continue to fall on the same small group of volunteers.
You do not have to know everything.
You do not have to be a baseball or softball expert.
And you certainly don’t have to do it alone.
What we need are parents who are willing to bring their time, ideas, skills, and energy to the table.
Volunteering isn’t just about helping NCLL — it’s about having a voice in the future of the organization your children are a part of.
READY TO GET INVOLVED?
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for an Executive Board or Board of Director position, please contact NCLL Secretary Curtis Sharkey at:

Executive Board nominations must be submitted by September 25th.
Don’t sit on the sidelines this year.
Step up. Get involved. Make a difference. Help us build the NCLL our kids deserve.
