The CCRM Gleaning Project

The CCRM Gleaning Project Working to end hunger and create community bonds through gleaning and gardening. Plant a seed, Grow a community!

The charitable spirit of gleaning is alive and well as programs like ours connect volunteer harvesters (gleaners) with willing farmers to ensure that what would otherwise rot in the field is instead put to good use nourishing those who need it. Community gardens provide another opportunity to create community bonds, bringing individuals together for a common goal centered on the locality, as well

as fresh produce to under-served populations, teaching food production skills, and contributing to agricultural literacy. Our agency is successful because people in the community care about others and generously support our mission to give a hand up to those in need.

Come join us this Sunday for a bread making workshop hosted by Jeff Barr!! 3:00 at the Friendly Kitchen.

Hello Everyone! If anyone has 5 Gallon buckets they are not using we could use some for the community composting part of our program. We lost some buckets due to the collaps and are looking for about 10-15 buckets. If you or anyone you know would be interested in donating clean ( since i don't have a way to wash them at the moment) 5 gallon buckets please let me know or feel free to drop them off at the SUNY Fredonia Incubator in office 127! Thanks so much for all the support!

Not your average school bus, the CHOW bus of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is used to deliver free hot meals to youths 18 and under during the summer break.
