Huntin’ With Jacob is excited to announce our 3rd Annual Youth & Veteran Waterfowl Hunt is back!

📅 **Saturday, February 6, 2027**
📍 **Southern Maryland & Surrounding Areas**

This event is about so much more than shooting ducks.

It’s about getting kids outdoors, creating memories, and introducing the next generation to hunting, conservation, and traditions that can last a lifetime.

Once again, we’ll be working with an incredible group of landowners, guides, volunteers, sponsors, and outdoor organizations** to give youth and veterans the opportunity to experience a morning in the blind — completely FREE of charge.

🎟️ **REGISTER EARLY FOR AN EXTRA OPPORTUNITY!**

Youth hunters who register early will be entered into a random drawing for an additional hunting experience!

Selected youth and Veterans will have the opportunity to join Huntin’ With Jacob on our leased property in Chestertown, Maryland for either a:

🦌 Youth Deer Hunt
**OR**
🪿 Family Goose Hunt or Veteran Goose Hunt

We want Youth Day to be more than just one morning in a duck blind. We want to create opportunities for kids and families to **spend time together outdoors, make memories, and build traditions that continue for generations.**

We’re going BIG for **February 6, 2027!**

If you have a farm, blind, boat, hunting property, or simply want to help make this day possible, **we want to hear from you!

🏡 WE’VE OUTGROWN OUR AFTER-PARTY VENUES!

One of the best parts of Youth Day is getting everyone back together after the hunts to share stories, eat, celebrate the kids, and enjoy the afternoon as one big outdoor community.

Thanks to the continued growth of this event, we have officially outgrown the venues currently available to us.

We are looking for a property, farm, event venue, pavilion, or similar location close to Dunkirk, Maryland that would be willing to host our 2027 Youth Day After Party.

We need enough room to comfortably bring together our youth hunters, veterans, families, guides, volunteers, and supporters after the morning hunts.

The Inaugural Huntin’ with Jacob Cobia Tournament has come to an end.

We were approached in January with the opportunity to restart this lovely tournament, and so like all tasks we bit off more than we can Chew and figured it out from there.

We may have only had 15 boats but it was still an amazing time and plenty of opportunity to take home some money.

Huge shout out to all the sponsors we had come aboard and make this event happen we hope to see your support next year as without you this would’ve been impossible

It truly is our pleasure to be given the opportunity to run this tournament for years to come. Yes we will be back next year, and as always it will be better

Without further a due congratulations to the following boats who placed

Dialed in Too
1st Place Redfish 47”
1st Place fish on Saturday with a 47” Redfish to win the Cobia Daily’s
They also won the grandprize for Cobia as it rolled down to the biggest redfish
1st place 3 Fish Bluefish Stringer at 21.96 lbs
And they took home the the daily money on Sunday as well as they Reeled in a 42in Release Redfish also winning the Youth Angler Award

Took Home the Combined Stringer Calcutta with a weight of 21.06
$200 bluefish Calcutta

Lastly in the Release Points Calcutta
Dialed in too 1st Place with 4 Release reds worth 20 points

The BackDraft with 3 Released short Cobia for 15 points as well as Lady Angler with angler Trish McVicar

That being said, it Truly was our honor and pleasure to host this great fishing tournament and bring the South Carolina and Ocean-city style tournament to the Chesapeake bay.

We will be back next year we look forward to your input on how to make the event better and get more boats in the tournament. Spread the word we can’t wait to see you all next year

Until then Pray for safe seas and tight lines and remember We can’t control the weather but we will throw one heck of a party with Fantasy World Entertainment and Solomons Yachting Center’s Help.(Yes there was a mechanical shark)
