See you tonight just before Sunset!

Piper on the Pier is BACK! Starting this Saturday, October 10, 2026, the City of Dunedin Pipe Band will have a piper, and often a drummer, play for 15-20min, concluding with “Amazing Grace” at sunset, on the Bon Appetit Restaurant & Marina Bar pier, in the Dunedin Marina.

These performances will happen every Friday and Saturday (with a few exceptions) for the next few months! The performance concludes at sunset, so be sure to check times before heading down! This Saturday sunset is 7:07pm, so we’ll be starting around 6:50pm.

Piper on the Pier is a wonderful Dunedin event, and celebrates the heart of our community. We love welcoming visitors and residents alike, who come down to the water to enjoy the performances. We hope to see you there

The City of Dunedin Pipe Band, marching off as 2026 EUSPBA Southern Branch Grade 4 Champions, at the Scotland County Highland Games, Laurinburg, North Carolina!

The band is proud to share the gr4 EUSPBA 2026 Southern Branch Champions are: City of Dunedin, proudly receiving four 1st place finishes from the judges today at the Scotland County Highland Games!

The band is competing in the Gr4 EUSPBA Southern Branch Championship tomorrow at the Scotland County Highland Games, in Laurinburgh, North Carolina!

We’ve had a good rehearsal after traveling and we are looking forward to playing first in our grade at 2:30pm.

We’ve enjoyed a great week in Glasgow and look forward to playing tomorrow morning in the gr2 qualifier round at the World Pipe Band Championships!

The band had a fantastic trip to Dublin and enjoyed playing yesterday at the 79th All-Ireland Pipe Band Championships! The band is pleased to have played well and finished 2nd in the grade 2 contest, also winning best drum corps, best mid-section, and best M&D.

A big thank you to all our friends and supporters who cheered the band on at the field and congratulations to Manorcunningham on their win!
