☘️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 THE EVENT IS ON! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿☘️

The Foundation for Scottish Athletics met with the City of St. Augustine this morning to discuss the 2027 St. Augustine Celtic Festival & Highland Games and St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and folks... we are moving forward! 🎉

We’re now entering the next phase — submitting permits and continuing to build the festival and parade for March 13, 2027.

And we need your help!

We are especially looking for someone with parade experience who would be willing to take the lead in organizing the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. If you have experience planning or coordinating parades, can attend planning meetings, and would like to get involved, please message us! We’d love to get you plugged into the team.

There is still plenty of work ahead, but today was a BIG step forward, and we are excited!

So mark your calendars...

Save the St. Augustine Celtic Festival & Highland Games Update

We’ve been busy behind the scenes gathering quotes and working on everything needed for our upcoming meeting with the City of St. Augustine.

Our meeting has been moved to October 7, and we are grateful for the additional time. It gives our team more time to develop the event budget, plan the site map, and prepare the other information the City needs.

We’ve been a little quieter over the past week and a half because several of our athletes and board members traveled to the Netherlands for the Masters World Championships. We are incredibly proud of them! Once everyone returns home and has time to recover, our planning team will begin meeting regularly again.

Thank you for your continued patience, encouragement, and support as we work to save the St. Augustine Celtic Festival & Highland Games. We are excited about the progress being made and look forward to sharing more updates soon!
