🌧️ A WEATHER UPDATE FOR OUR GDLL FAMILIES

We know this isn’t the news anyone wanted to hear, especially with games and practices to look forward to this weekend. We know how much our players love being on the field, and we understand how disappointing these cancellations are for our families, coaches, and teams.

Unfortunately, due to the weather and field conditions, all GDLL fields will remain closed through the weekend. No games or practices will take place.

We know how much time and planning go into getting everyone to the ballpark, and we don’t take these decisions lightly. The safety of our players and families, along with protecting our fields so we can continue playing throughout the season, has to come first.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we navigate a challenging stretch of weather. We’re just as eager as you are to get back out there!

Please continue to check our social media and GameChanger for updates.

❤️🖤 We’ll see you back at the ballpark as soon as we can!

⚾🥎 HAPPY NATIONAL COACHES DAY!

Today we’re celebrating the coaches who give their time, energy, patience, and heart to our players all season long.

They teach more than baseball and softball. They teach teamwork, perseverance, confidence, sportsmanship, and how to keep showing up — even when things don’t go exactly as planned.

To every GDLL coach: thank you. Thank you for showing up, putting in the work, cheering from the dugout, teaching the fundamentals, and helping our kids fall in love with the game.

Our league wouldn’t be what it is without you.

Happy National Coaches Day to our incredible GDLL coaches!

A few of the faces behind the game. ❤️🖤

We could never fit all of our incredible GDLL coaches into one reel, but we want every single one of you to know how much you’re appreciated.

Thank you for the time you give, the lessons you teach, the patience you have, and the heart you pour into our players.

You’re helping build more than ballplayers — you’re helping build confident, resilient, hardworking kids who love the game.

To every GDLL coach, pictured or not: we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re so thankful for you.

Happy National Coaches Day! ⚾🥎
