Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin Advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Women building better communities.

That's the Junior League. The Junior League has been the driving force behind the kinds of initiatives and institutions that make our community a healthier, more vital place to live. Junior League members, reflecting a wide range of backgrounds, interests, and professional pursuits work together to identify unmet needs, forge effective coalitions, and work for change. Time and time again, the Junior League is among the first organizations to step up to the plate and tackle a community’s biggest challenges.

🎃🎬 They’re creepy and they’re kooky… and Flicks & Fundraising is BACK! 🫰🫰
After such a fun sold-out event with Gigglewaters earlier this year, we’re doing it again — this time with The Addams Family just in time for Halloween!

And we have THREE showtimes this time around:
📅 Monday, October 26
🕛 12 p.m. | 3 p.m. | 6:30 p.m. ET
📍 Gigglewaters, Safety Harbor
🎟 Tickets are only $5.85

Through Gigglewaters’ Giggles for Good program, 100% of ticket sales come back to JLCD + 10% of food sales in the theater. So grab lunch, dinner, drinks or snacks while you’re there — it all helps support our League!

🎟️ You can buy tickets here: https://tickets.gigglewaters.com/movies/the-addams-family

Our last Flicks & Fundraising sold out, so don’t wait to get your tickets! Come have a creepy, kooky, altogether ooky time with us. 🖤🍿🎃

🌟 Investing in Knowledge, Leading with Purpose 🌟

Leaders of Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin had the opportunity to attend the Korosy Legacy Society Breakfast, Building a Lasting Legacy: Expert Insights in Finance, Wealth, and Estate Planning, hosted by Hope Villages of America.

This educational event brought together community leaders, professionals, and supporters for meaningful discussions centered on legacy, impact, and thoughtful planning for the future. The panel provided valuable insights into finance, wealth management, and estate planning while encouraging attendees to consider the lasting impact they hope to leave on their families and communities.

We were especially proud to see Junior League Sustainer, Meg Lokey of the Pinellas Community Foundation, serving as a panelist alongside: ✨ Ray Ferreira, Provise Management Group✨ Nick Grimaudo, Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP

At Junior League, we believe that education is a powerful tool for creating stronger communities. Through our mission, we train and empower women to become effective leaders who serve, support, and strengthen nonprofits throughout our community.

Thank you to Hope Villages of America for hosting such an informative and impactful event. We left inspired, informed, and more committed than ever to fostering leadership and encouraging lifelong learning.

At our October General Membership Meeting, our guest speaker was Erin Authier-Lohr, Executive Director of Hero To A Child, who showed us how they support children and youth in the child system in Pinellas and Pasco Counties. We also donated period supplies to Hero to a Child's supply closet and we are partnering with them for a volunteer opportunity next week.

Plus, we celebrated our Dunedin Chamber of Commerce's Nonprofit of the Year award 🍊and showed our hype for Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin Art Harvest, which is already a month away, by purchasing our Art Harvest shirts! 🎨

Thanks to Achieva Credit Union for providing our meeting space.

🏆 We’re honored to be named the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce’s Nonprofit of the Year!

What makes this recognition especially meaningful is how it came about. JLCD was nominated because of our continued involvement and engagement with the Chamber and the broader Dunedin community — and then Chamber members voted to select this year’s honoree.

To be recognized by the very people we’ve had the privilege of connecting with throughout the year is incredibly special. It’s a reminder that community impact isn’t just about what we do — it’s also about showing up, building relationships, and being an engaged community partner.

Thank you to the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce and its members for this incredible honor, and to our JLCD Members who continue to represent our League with purpose and passion.♥️🖤

We’re proud to develop women to do a world of good — together.

🎨🌾 Art Harvest is coming! 🌾🎨

Our New Member Mingle & Marketing teams have been out and about, canvassing our local communities to promote the 62nd Annual Art Harvest—our biggest fundraiser of the year! 🖼️✨

Today, we added posters all around the Safety Harbor community and helped spread the word about this exciting annual event. We’re grateful for everyone helping us get the message out!

📣 We hope to see YOU at Art Harvest! Come support local artists, enjoy the community, and be part of this wonderful tradition.
