Rainy Portugal Worldschooling days look like this 🤍
Coworking at an indoor play space, amazing food, after starting the day at the ocean while V plays in the sand with all our new worldschool friends from the Hub.
As a single mama, homeschooler, and US traveler, I’ve been so surprised by how warm and welcoming Portugal has been, especially to Americans and expats living here. I was honestly nervous traveling abroad as an American right now, and yet, this is the most welcomed I’ve ever felt.
It’s also the first country I’ve ever driven in, and doing it solo with a kid had me nervous at first, but it’s incredibly easy to get around. Calm roads, kind drivers, everything feels doable.
Locals keep joking that I should find an EU man to marry so we can stay, and we all laugh at how ironic it is that the US passport isn’t the flex it used to be.
Note to the Ladies: LEAVE your toxic partners/marriages/situationships sooner.
Life is Soooooo much better on the other side, esp if you can heal from it abroad 🤣💃I knew it was better after divorce but I’d forgotten in this last relationship.
The goal now, more ease, safety, and joy in all areas of life and never settling again 🌍🤍
