We were so glad to be able to honor the DCS Elementary Student of the Month at our regular meeting on Wednesday, May 27th. Caleb Thomas, a sixth grader, was introduced by Elementary Principal Tiffany Cohrs. Principal Cohrs told us that Caleb was selected because he is consistently an academic leader who sets examples for others. He participates in multiple sports, student government, and supports the attendance initiative. She stated that Claleb is "an all-around great student." Caleb is the son of Stacey and Doug Thomas.
Dundee Rotary President Lynda Kimball presented Caleb with a certificate and a $25.00 check.

Scrap Metal Drive May 23rd-30th 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.

Bring your scrap metal to Dundee Knapp and Schlappi Lumber during the week of Saturday May 23rd to Saturday May 30th. There will be a dumpster in the back left area of the lumber yard. Any metal is acceptable other than an appliance that contains freon. If you have an object that is too large or heavy to throw into the roll-off dumpster such as an old grill, please leave it for the Rotarians to manage.

We would appreciate your help in spreading the word about the Scrap Metal Drive by sharing this post with your Friends.

The proceeds from the sale of the scrap metal helps us to fund our annual community projects.
