Odd Fellows and Rebekahs of Delaware

Odd Fellows and Rebekahs of Delaware Odd Fellowship (IOOF) began as a mutual aid society rooted in Friendship, Love, and Truth, supporting members in times of need.

Today, it continues as a values-driven fraternity focused on personal growth, community service, and meaningful connection. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows lives by the principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth in an effort to visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead, and educate the orphan to constantly move towards building a better world not only for all mankind, but for the next generation and beyond.

It is with deep sadness that our jurisdiction reports another loss in our fraternal chain. This morning, just 3 days past his 66th year of service to Odd Fellowship:

Past Grand Patriarch B. Marshall Reynolds, Golden Rule Lodge #17
and a Charter Member of the former Hope Rebekah Lodge #24

Gave the final password and was found worthy to enter the Last Degree. As he is reunited with his brothers and sisters on this new journey, the ones who have been left behind will mourn his passing and remember him as he was; A good man, who loved his family and his fraternity. A man always willing to lend a hand and did so with a smile wide across his face. Fare thee well, dear brother, you surely will be missed.

It is with a heavy heart and worn-out eyes that I come to you with this distressing news.

I am heartbroken to report that we have lost a huge link in our chain. Yesterday, June 19th, 2025, Michael K. Lynch of Centreville #37, gave the final password, and he was taken home to begin his next journey.

No other information is available right now. We will provide details of services when they become available.
